A New Perspective

by Elizabeth Barrett Browning

The little cares that fretted me

I lost them yesterday,

Among the fields above the sea,

Among the winds at play;

Among the lowing of the herds,

The rustling of the trees,

Among the singing of the birds,

The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what may happen

I cast them all away,

Among the clover-scented grass,

Among the new mown hay;

Among the husking of the corn

Where drowsy poppies nod,

Where ill thoughts die and good are born,

Out in the fields of God.

When it comes to business, you need someone who can give shape to abstract ideas, provide a solid framework for ephemeral thoughts, and bring concepts into concretion. These are some of my strong suits. I can help you say what you really want to say.

Words can make or break a business. The right words presented the right way can change everything. Powerful, persuasive copy converts “browsers” into buyers, and that means more profits in your pocket.

The Cookie Thief

by Valerie Cox

A woman was waiting at an airport one night
With several long hours before her flight
She hunted for a book in the airport shop
Bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop
She was engrossed in her book but happened to see
That the man beside her as bold as could be
Grabbed a cookie or two from the bag between
Which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene
She munched cookies and watched the clock
As this gutsy cookie thief diminished her stock
She was getting more irritated as the minutes ticked by
Thinking "If I wasn't so nice I'd blacken his eye"
With each cookie she took he took one too
And when only one was left she wondered what he'd do
With a smile on his face and a nervous laugh
He took the last cookie and broke it in half
He offered her half as he ate the other
She snatched it from him and thought "Oh brother
This guy has some nerve and he's also rude
Why he didn't even show any gratitude"
She had never known when she had been so galled
And sighed with relief when her flight was called
She gathered her belongings and headed for the gate
Refusing to look back at the thieving ingrate
She boarded the plane and sank in her seat
Then sought her book which was almost complete
As she reached in her baggage she gasped with surprise
There was her bag of cookies in front of her eyes
"If mine are here" she moaned with despair
"Then the others were his and he tried to share"
Too late to apologize she realized with grief
That she was the rude one, the ingrate, the thief.

There’s no better investment you could possibly make in your company than to hire a professional copywriter. The right copy can gain you a healthier bottom line and position you for success, despite the competition.

I'm a specialist, dedicated to copywriting excellence. One of my goals is to become your "go to" copywriter, whether your business is a brick and mortar store right here in Colorado Springs, or online across the world.

I've always had a passion for words, especially when they make a positive difference in the lives of others. I love poetry, stories, and any combination of words that inspire and motivate people. I have shared two such poems below. I've also always appreciated the way a good story can sweep me up into its arms and carry me away.

As a professional copywriter I enjoy helping my clients tell their stories, connect with their customers, and make a positive difference in their business. It's always a thrill to help my clients take the thoughts and ideas running around in their head, gather them together and put them down on paper for others to read and understand.

Contact me today, and let’s discuss how we can put my talents to work for you. I’m already excited about the possibilities!
